Default What do the icons mean in damage control?

one appears to be a pump (with the amount of time to pump the compartment under it), the other one that I've seen is a circle with a cross over it, and a time - I have no idea what it means, can anyone enlighten me?

I think the other one is the time until the compartment is completely flooded.

That's exactly right. If the flooding time goes to zero before the pumping time goes to zero in any one compartment, it's game over, man, game over. If the flooding number is less than the pumping number, then you have to improve your damage control, fast!

Just quick question... is it still game over with the Hollywood Damage mod? I thought I read somewhere that your u-boat just starts to sink if a compartment floods completely?

Is the pumping performed by the Damage Control Team or by having crewmen present in the compartments? I've always been unsure on this point as I heard that people sitting in a given compartment will perform "minor" repairs...what does that cover?

It's done by the damage control team.

But adding more people to the space helps with the flooding.
