Default Check it out...SH3 cloning library site!

Hi everyone....check out the SH3 cloning library website!

http://www.tekcities.com/stljeffbb/CloningLib.html

The JU 87 is there now....however, I can only upload a total of ten objects for now. It's going to take me a while to best figure out how to clone the ID's, and then learn how to edit the object with hex editing alone.

Excellent! This is a great step in adding to SH3's roster.

In the meantime, is there any extra unit which the JU 87 can represent, possibly after hex editing?

Hi AG124.....well, it currently acts like a JU 87....you can change the type of bomber it is by changing some of the numbers in the .cfg file if I remember correctly......I'm not remembering exactly where, but I know this can be done....one cuold also change the loadout, and even add ships guns to the plane's front pylons and this should act differently from the original.

Certainly, with hex editing, one can do a lot.....sergbuto has manipulated a couple of planes and morphed them into others....I'm not 100% sure how he did it quite yet, but I'm getting there...

Hi Type941...

Yes, I think so....I've seen others talk about this possibility....I just have to learn how to do it.....check out my comments over on the ORZEL cloning thread

At this moment, I'm cloning the Evarts DE....wish me luck! I'm concerned because the hex ID list that Sansal put on the thread are missing some of the numbers in the sequence (34, 35, 36, then 39, etc.).....however, I also notice this using the Lurbz DATNav tool....I'm hopeful all of the IDs are there...
