Thunderstorm surprise
So there I was, cruising in the Irish Sea in my Type VIIB, in heavy seas and thunderstorms. It sounded pretty cool, with my big Marantz speakers and amp turned up, and I was enjoying the ride. Lightning flashes, thunder, rain, heavy seas, crashing waves ...
Then, this enormous crash of thunder, then another, really loud and deep and powerful. "Wow," I thought, "I didn't realise that sound existed in SH3! Wonderful! These speakers are better than I thought!" Except that we were having a thunderstorm in real life, outside, and I hadn't realised.   (And yes, guys, I do have a surge protector.) |
