SHIII Commander help

I installed SHIII commander and also Rub1.43 with a few other simple mods like gramphone music and sky textures. I finished up my old career with commander and everything woked fine, the problem is when I try to start a new career. I load the commander icon where it say "user enter details" and has where you can pick a date and name, then I launch SHIII and play the game, when I save and exit SHIII and go back to commander there is no new information, no crew summary, no picture of the captain? Should I re-install? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you finish the first patrol before exiting SH3? SH3 only saves your career after you have *completed* your first patrol. If you have saved mid-first patrol, the career information doesn't yet exist. Without these career files, there is nothing for SH3 Commander to recognise.

If this is not the case, ie you have completed the first patrol but SH3 Commander doesn't recognise your new career, pls let me know.
