Strange request number 404..
![]() Can anyone tell me when SH3 officially states, 'The war is over' ? I thought the date was August 26, 1945. I've gone beyond this date-line in a previous campaign, and could 'view' my very last patrol stats, but then the game quit-out to the main menu. I couldn't apply my last medals, and view other things. All I want to do is be able to apply medals (and view crew, subs, etc.) after my very last patrol. What's a safe date to be back to port, so I can do this? I know sub-damage (time to repair) takes time too, but am not sure if the game applies repair-time right 'after' the patrol, or 'before' the next patrol (in which case there is 'no' patrol because the war is over ![]() p.s. I know I'm not supposed to know when the war ends, but the game seems to have a fixed date.

Hello,
i think official surrender was may 8th, anyway a truce with the western allies was signed earlier at the 5th to allow fugitives from the east enter the western areas (?). Greetings, Catfish |
