Default Alarm, aircraft INCOMING! [screenshots]

Hi all

Had a bit of fun shooting down some Sunderlands.

This one was going to a watery grave and missed impacting directly on my sub but a huge secondry explosion (caused by her bombload going off?) meant an end to this fine boot.

And here in May 1942 square BF 12, I had no fewer than a dozen Sunderlands buzzing me. So many that these two bumped during their attack runs.

I just happened to be looking in the right direction with the free camera to grab that shot.

All fun and games.

Short Sudnerland is easy to kill, they just fly straight overhead...

the B24's on the other hand...they just toss the bombs, then head away, i'm havinig a hard time killing those...

Default pics and secondary explosion

Great pics! I have no doubt the secondary exploson sank your boat. The same happened to me but it was the explosion of a sinking ship that got me. lol

Do you guys operate the flak yourself or let your petty officer or seaman do it?

At first I would man the guns myself,But know I use the crew. They are better at it and I can set back and watch the "fire works". I find it to be much better!.....Great eye candy!. and useing the "Hollywood" EFX mod just adds to the action....

Bad news Canimo .. they most certainly DO Kamikazi in. Lost a boat in 44 out in the Med and I have read of this happening to others as well. Not a damn thing you can do about it either. The one that Kamikazi'd me wasn't even smoking and on fire yet either. Just did a header right into the bridge. All hands lost. Game over.

Yeah I let me well-trained crew do the shooting.

These Sunderland's are a bit of a duck shoot but get a few around and with their large weapon load it can get... interesting.

Haven't seen the B24s yet but I've heard about their tactics. Getting carpet bombed sounds a bit scary...

All these elements in the game (that I've been playing for about four months I guess) just keep cropping up.
