surface collision are buggy ;-)

i tried this too, and start shooting the boat with my deckgun while i was in the middle of it!

very very few damages until the boat starts to sink... killing me by a huge lot of damages

i guess collision boxes are located not over all the boat 3d model.

Surface collisons are definately buggy.

Ive actually in testing rammed a C3 cargo ship going full speed ahead right in the side.I ended up passing clean through the ship and it only lowered my Hull integrity by 5% .

I just cant believe UBI let this go and did not fix it.That to me is a very serious flaw and major oversight on the part of the devs.

I've had some colissions where I should have sunk, but alas, the bigger ship did.

Must be that new 'Metaphasic shield' technology BdU was going on about at the last staff meeting.

Seriously though, only time I've been run over, I died. (That was the only time I ever tried to duke it out deckgun to gun with a Destroyer).

same here, but it was by accident, i recieved 0% damage, and i was playin with 60% realism (realistic damge, and repair)

You know, I really enjoy the humor of this forum.

Do they come super-sized for u-boats?

Yeah, but you only get one and it costs ten times as much.
