Holding off ? Why ?

How can you decide which mods are right for you unless you know the pros/cons of a standard SHIII 1.4b ?

Would be nice for someone sensible in the Subsim team to do a kind of magazine review of all the mods and score them

They should be out very soon. We are just doing a little beta test with the combined RUB-Ops Mod just now. There are a few little things here and there as you would imagine but, I have to say, it is pretty good fun. I think this is the biggest update there has been yet it terms of content.

Lots of stuff in those two.

We have plans for the Ops-Mod. What we are releasing is only the first step....

My mistake, thought you had not played SHIII at all. Re-reading your message made me realize you have played it in the past but have now stopped playing till those mods will be released.

What should be the target of the second link you entered here? It throws me directly into general FORUM page :-(

Ops was always created with RUb in mind. It's only logical that we use them together

In the end there were a lot of files that were present in RUB that the Ops-Mod needed. It just makes far more sense to release them combined. As CCIP said, it was created with RUB in mind and, in truth, If we released it separately it would pretty much be the OPs + a sort of RUB lite.

We should be. I actually made several notable improvements to the Ops files just in the last couple of days, but these might have to wait until the next version.

Not sure, we'll see what Beery says
