the single turret tga that is shared totally fks up fluidity for the rest of the skins.

working on it trying to find a way around it for my mod. That way dif textures for ships can have dif turret skins hopefully and keep the fluidity of the skins. It's one major thing that peed me off with sh3. turrel.tga I believe is the tga I have to check it again it's been a month since I touched any thing for my mod or sh3

mmkay there is 2 actually that are shared among all ships ingame which is turele.tga for main guns and guns.tga for the others. hence why they made all ship skins have the same color scheme..lazy buggers.

If I can find a way around it I will certainly let you know. The only way I can think of is to find out where it tells the individual models to take the skins for the guns and turrets and then change it to bismarck turele1.tga and the location for the tga to the .dat file for each model , south hampton turret turele2.tga etc as examples. If sarge knows how to do this or check if this can be done in the models themselves and can confer with me maybe we can find a way to work around this together. That's my idea for trying to find a solution to the shared turele.tga and guns.tga at this moment but I can't open the ship model files because I don't know how to as I don't do models lol.
