Default SuperMod comparisons?

This has to exist already...
RFB and TMO purport to do the same things, almost verbatim. What are the differences?

RFB has the stock campaign, tweaks to the boats for a given approach to "realism". The S Boat class especially is not as strong as Stock has it.

TMO has a custom campaign, based upon the stock game. The boats are modified some, but not as much as RFB. TMO's claim to fame is the enemy escorts are more pernicious and do not give up hunting your boat as easily.

OK thanks! The custom campaign is pretty appealing to me, and yeah I think I recall TMO being called particularly difficult. I also think I played TMOTW before but might go with the real version after my current playthrough.

How does FotRS fit in? All I really get from the write-up is that it adds assets and modifies the campaign a bit.

Like a cross between TMO (based on v1.7 of that), a dash of RFB, but not real strong, with shades of RSRDC campaign, and you can add in Nihon Kaigun, Nippon Maru and Fleetboat Interior - Officer's Quarters on top of it and have a super-duper mod. Next release is being worked on again after finishing a different mod, and encountering numerous health & family issues...

Stay safe and take care of the family. Love your work and can’t wait for updates but hope y’all are taking care of yourselves.

OK, thanks! Maybe I'll keep an eye out for the update and try all that for a 3rd playthrough.

It's so cool to see people still working on mods here. Do take care of yourself and the fam, though. I hope good things for you and yours.
