Default Automatically generated iceberg field

  • Generates multiple floating and randomly positioned icebergs within a circular area of 10 km radius.
  • This field will be avoided by any AI ship.
  • Very few impact on FPS.

Ich hoffe die Eisfelder tauchen nur in den richtigen Klimazonen von selbst auf,
mir ist übrigens in 19 Jahren Silent Hunter noch kein einziger Eisberg begegnet,
aber ich suche auch nur nach Tonnage!

As for any other units, they have do be scripted in the campaign files and/or the single missions.

Thank you. In order to see them, you can try the test mission included with my mod. Else, they have to be scripted in campaign files or single missions.

There is the possibility to create additional icefields in the library file by playing on the settings of the particle generator, so you can have more or less icebergs in them, and script them accordingly to the time of the year (more icebergs during the winter period). Tests are needed to see if too many icebergs won't crash the game...
