radar The official tutorial videos

These are the official tutorial videos that come with the game, listed by the titles in the game, the first two videos have different titles on youtube, but are the same videos.

If you are not certain whether this game is for you, this is a good way to find out.

The game is currently in Early Access and thus is neither complete nor without bugs. If they stay with it and iron all issues out, this will become a heck of a great and deep sim.

And hell there is the all too familiar MicroProse logo on the first screen, yeah...!

1. Gameplay Basics

2. Battle Groups

3. Detection and Stealth

4. Weapon Types

5. Electronic Warfare

do you find yourself playing for hours on end? I ask only because with no save game mode yet wouldn't it stink to only play 30 min and then have to restart the game from the beginning? This game does have incredible potential!

I do find myself playing for hours on end, however, the individual scenarios aren't long enough at this point for the save situation to be much of an issue.

A dynamic campaign is coming in the near future, and the developers have stated that they'll be implementing a full save system very soon. I got my first patch, with a bunch of fixes, today, so they're working on things.

Knowing what I now know, after five or six hours of play, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the game. It's great fun in its current state, and they're moving right along fast with fixes and features.

Its Early Access and so not yet polished, I strongly assume much of what is to be expected will later be added if it is not already included. There are bugs, yes. There are missing features, yes. But then, there is time compression mode, if you play a mission with long foreplay, you can accelerate and get quickly to the action.

Have played myself just since release day, mind you.

There is an awesome lot of potential.

Indeed! For an Early Access title, the price tag is a bit too steep, imo.

Its causing hot debates - which I do not want to add to and do not want to blow up in proportion, however. For EA its just a bit too much.
