How shallow can you dive and not be visible to aircraft in SH 1?

Hi Wargamer,
I've been playing SH1 for a very long time because the game has very good AI, but also some quirks. In rare good weather conditions with good visibility and calm sea planes can actually spot you when you are as deep as 100 feet. You'd need to go deeper in such conditions. And worse, planes will radio your position to any nearby patrols, so be prepared to be 'visited' shortly... Bugs in the game (Commander 1.3 version): - Don't leave your ID book open or the game will crash; - Don't use high TC over x16 with nearby enemies or they will always locate you; - Escorts that spot you will not fire at you when more than 2000 yards away but you can fire at them. Don't do it if you play on high realism. I hope this helps you, Greetings ![]() |

Yes, especially when you are underwater with enemies nearby. Just never go over x16 with nearby enemies and you are fine. Once alone on patrol you can again use higher than x16. XS |
