Over the last few months I haven't had much time to myself but, I have found that the game I mentioned many months ago Seaorama has been massively upgraded and indeed is continually updated and upgraded.

The game itself is a business management style game akin to Trans Ocean, airline tycoon or Ship Tycoon so if you enjoyed those types of games you will like this one.

Basically you have to build your own shipping company taking various cargo's from port to port using different ships.
Currently they model Bulk Carriers from small panamax to ULOC (China Mxx), there's container ships from Panamax to SuezMax and various oil tankers from small Handy size to ULCC, theres also various size gas carriers too. I am not certain but other types may be available in the future, it is a young game so they are still building some of it.

In game you can play alone, against AI and now a ranked mode against other players from around the world.
I Don't have time to play the ranked mode but from what I gather there's a season limit on the time frame and after the 60 days the one who has most points etc wins.

Against AI you can play in various modes, the screen shots I enclose are of Hard mode, the AI is quite intelligent and you have to be quite sharp in the hard mode to actually start building.

Currently i'm operating 25 bulk carriers, 25 tankers and 25 container ships, it sounds a lot but I have operations managers looking after 72 of those ships.
You can upgrade the ships and select your crew from available CV's (resumes), you can then go for contracts either spot hire, or charter long or short term.

Its turned out well I am looking forward to the continued updates which may include more ship types
