Default Three years old, but worth to consider: Windows 11's hidden agenda

It seems these days only the dystopic visions of Science Fiction turn out to become real, not the positive utopias.

Indeed the new chip on the mainboard which has to be present and detected to install Win 11, serves exactly this purpose.

"The botnet they call Microsoft."

Release of Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon is imminent.

I wonder wether I really will buy an expensive new Windows PC again when my current one breaks down, just for gaming and VR, because already now my VR gaming almost exclusively takes place on Quest 3,while I finally slowly loose interest in racing, like I lost interest before in tanks, flight sims...

Windows 10 was bad, I still have blocked updates for it and will never allow them again. But Windows 11 is a nightmare in all regards. And additionally to the privacy horrors and security terrors it is said to be buggier than any Windows before it.

The lasting issue with Linux is still software and hardware compatability. Drivers for printers for example often can be found, but a layman can get lost in finding them.

I use Linux, I defend it - but I am still feeling cold about it. Its a decision by the mind, but it will never be a heart affair. Even Mint-Cinnamon. If I could choose, I would want back Windows 7. This OS I knew and handled better than any before and after.

Hehe, recent Cloudstrike global IT breakdown shows where we are heading with Microsoft Windows 11 always-online, cloud-enforcement and total monitoring. Hang on the drip like all others - and if there is a toxine in the drip you get it like everybody else.

This what the tech companies call their "vision" is the utmost threat for us all. Total dependency means total exposure and total helplessness, for better or worse.

And its preparing the Great Reset, as its called by some. Mass expropriation. Social scoring and total subjugation. Total accumulation of property and power at the very top-of-the top of the civilizational food chain. Total, unlimited, unrestricted corporatism.

Totalitarianism. Feudalism. Serfdom.

Irresponsible. Stupid. Criminal.
