Is Silen Hunter 3 multiplayer possible in 2023?

Been looking to do some co op with a friend of mine. I know Wolfpack exists. Just was wondering if SH3 multiplayer is something that is possible as well.

Silent Hunter III Multiplayer in 2023 all you need is Radmin VPN download link below and its free

https://www.radmin-vpn.com/

Once you have both download Radmin VPN make a server each and enter your password share your server name and passwords
with your Buddie or group and your up and running up to 8 players can join SH3 Multiplayer game the good old days are back

blackswan40 Ducky Lederhosen played SH3-GWX Multiplayer 1942 Mission Friday 17/11/2023 using Radmin VPN its very stable its like the good old days.
The GWX Real War Convoy single missions I wrote a while back ive added more uboat/players i'll upload the Multiplayer Missions on Subsim tomorrow

I have added more Uboat Players to the 15 Real WWII Convoy Missions just unpack with 7zip and copy & paste all multiplayer mission into your multiplayer missions folder Dowload Link Below

This a great find and thanks for the person asking about it and the other member sharing how to do it. I'm going to guess that this work work with SH4 and SH5 as well.

Hi Zinmar it should work with SH4 and SH5 clicking on multiplayer then LAN

and not through Ubisoft servers.
If you dont have SH3 but would like to have SH3 drop me a line

I do have SH3. Bought and played the daylights out of it when it first came out, oh so long ago. Updated system and could never get it to work again. Came across the new GWX that has come out and thought I'd give it a try. Followed the install instructions and I'm able to play it again.

This only has one problem for me now. I currently have SH3, SH4 and SH5 on my system along with Uboat. I have a serious problem of which to chose at a given time.

For this to work, do all players need the same base game, or can some players be running different modded versions?

Hi Zoltar23 yes all players neeed the same indentical install but only the host needs the mission
you can use the blank campaign files to speed up the the mission loading time for all players.
