I left WILHMSHAVAN on AUG 1 1939 . ON the return from BF16 ! A message from NEWS RADIO / LEHMAN / NEWS// 14 U boats have been sent to patrol the NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN
 also when the waves are covering the sub but nothing I did would stop it from happening finally I did nothing that worked
