Does SH5 work on linux with mods?

I come from SH3 land and have logged countless hours with GWX. SH5 is currently on sale on steam and I am thinking about getting it, but only if mods work with the game. I know the stock game is very buggy and mods are required to fix a lot of issues, and I'd like to play The Wolves of Steel as it looks very cool and polished.

I am running the latest version of Linux Mint. I am fairly sure the vanilla game runs fine from what I have read on protondb but have only seen one comment from someone stating that they were unable to get TWOS or any mods working on linux for SH5.

Are there any linux gamers on here who can confirm if mods work for SH5 on linux? Thanks.
