South China sea intel mission

This was a hard one

Tasking: Obtain intel through ELINT SIGINT PHOTINT & Sonar of what's happening around the Hainan islands.
Reports show there has been a build up over the last year of materials on a smaller island which houses an unknown complex, find out what it is and why there are ships anchored nearby.

ROE: fire only if fired upon do not be counter detected, area is inside Chinese territorial waters.

Summary of action: Took Key West in for a close look at island upon transit detected substantial surface traffic and a submerged contact.
Surface unit FFG type 054 came within 8,000yards remained undetected.

Routine monitoring of area showed more surface platforms running barrier lines around the area detected 4 warships and 1 submarine.
Unexpectedly submarine surfaced was able to positively ID as Han class SSN

Ran in to island using Han as masking, confirmed new command center complex with Radar and possible bunker and barracks.
ESM showed multiple types of aircraft in the area including MPA aircraft withdrew from area 1.

Proceeded to tasking 2 VID all ships at anchor, Two naval stores ships AOE & AOR type a cruise ship freighter and LST, vessels did not move and were at anchor.

Egressed out of area relayed report to COMSUBPAC.
