30. Constantly check that the boat isn’t leaving any oil slicks behind (leaky oil bunker etc.). Patches of oil can appear at the point of diving due to residue in the ballast tanks getting blown out when the ballast vents are opened to flood the boat. Therefore, do not remain in the vicinity of the diving point. |
