Changing Captain name

Howdy all
Got Wolfpack from Steam and found that the release I got was not up to snuff per the video's I had been watching.
Well.... Turns out you need to have the latest beta loaded also.
Went to steam and got that squared away. Then started the game again.
New question came up.
My game uses my Steam name and doesn't seem to allow you to change it.
Am I overlooking something? Will there be plans to fix this type of thing later in the game?
This is by far no big deal.
Anyone with the news? Shed some light on it.

Change your Steam name before you play and you can put in any name that floats your boat.
