Finally a reality: the flying car

Slovakia is the first country that has formally licensed and permitted operation and selling of a flying car. With that step it can be sold everywhere in the EU now.

Certification was granted after 75 hours of flight operations and 200 starts and landings. It meets all regulations of the European flight safety authorities. It thus can be operated everywhere in Europe, you need a drivers license and a pilots certificat. Runway of tarmac or grass must be 300m. 1 pilot + 1 passneger. Range 1000km in air, the engine is a normal BMW engine with 160 PS, you fill up the tank at any ordinary gas station for cars. Ceiling 2400m. Serial production is imminent, a version for 4 people is in the making. Price is estimated to be in the range between 150 and 300 thousand coins.

I would be curious to know about its gliding characteristics without engine.
