DW Hangs and Error Message
Hi All. When I launch DW in Steam, I get to the movie and everything seems fiine. But when I get to the menu and click Options or anything, I get a Windows error message saying "No audio input device found." Then the game hangs and keeps repeating the error message until I use Win task manager to force DW to shut down. Any thoughts?

Do you have the file d3d8.dll to run on windows 10 ?
Secondly in the file directory you can over ride the audio input C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Dangerous Waters Dangerous waters config settings (open this file) .AllowVoiceRec No <<< make sure that says no

Thanks, Kapitan! That totally worked. And thanks, Aktungbby. I evaded all detection but now need a shave.
