Convoy Routes

I had a question about the "Convoy Routes or Lanes" mod on the GWX map. Are ships and traffic actually concentrated along these lanes or are just eye candy. I, myself haven't noticed much or any increase in traffic along these lanes.

Hello my friend... long time no see...
I noticed that when sailing on those routes or near them it's more likely to find single shipping and/or convoys. Not that you are going to find the entire merchant fleet, but I think based on my experience that the chances are higher.

However, I suppose that it also depends on the year... just a guess....

Correct. All mega mod and vanilla modes concentrate shipping in these lanes . Now to be clear, you may find the convoy just outside the lanes. It will not necessarily be in the actual area the lanes are highlighted in. Good hunting!
