electric machine room

I couldn't help my self from supporting this project as its goals are right in my wheel house,
albeit there's much to be done, what is operational is awesome!
Which leads me to my two questions regarding the machine rooms. I don't know if this is implemented yet but,
In the electric machine room is there a meter or which meter is it that monitors how much power remains in your batteries as your operating the E motors?

Also I can't figure out for the life of me how you "recharge" the batteries
or rather properly set up the E panel for recharge as your operating on your diesels?
It Really is fascinating to me and I spent a few hours between my translator app attempting to understand the labeling and trying different configurations.

I understand in the future there will be tutorials or manuals for the various systems , I was hoping for a quick and dirty answer if possible.

It's going to be amazing to see how this sim progresses! looking forward to it and best of luck with the project!
fwiw- in the pay for version is it possible to swap out the camera for a flash light?
as it would be real helpful when throwing change over or distro switches and blacking the sub out
