Is war brewing between Egypt and Ethiopia? Seems likely but probably not overt use of Egypt’s military. A proxy war maybe to generate political instability in Ethiopia.

Why? Apparently Ethiopia wants to build the Ethiopian Grand Renaissance Damn which would reduce water flow on the Blue Nile and that has Egypt just a tad concerned.

I give it a 3:1 chance that this turns out ugly. I think that since longer time. Essential, vital interests of Egypt are touched here. They cannot afford not to do something.

This has been simmering for quite a while now and Egypt is by far the stronger player.
