Default Nvidia Gaugan

Dumbing down the Art world, generate photorealistic imagery from basic brush strokes, if you've got any little ones who don't know one end of a paintbrush from the other then this is what they need.

Meh, AI will remain AI for now. Skipping through the video, much of it looked like something you'd achieve with very liberal use of the clone stamp tool in Photoshop; lots of repeating patterns and other tell tale marks.

Another example of AI simply not being able to recognize different things is AI colorization of photos, it's quite awful.

The only place I've seen it being decent to good is with faces and that's something very specific (eyes, mouth, nose, jawline) it looks for to accomplish the end result and even then, the shape of the face needs to be similar if we're talking about switching one face with another.

^Its in its infancy old boy, unlike the old farts on this site, give it a few more years and all the issues that you've mentioned will be sorted out. I would say in less than 20 years time all Hollywood movie backgrounds will be done this way, it'll save the studios a fortune in location costs, see, its all about the money.

And with this we will see new Movie stars, Born of technology now let's get all the human stars money before they leave America. After all they have lived a very privileged life and stood by every politician they believed in and they should contribute before they leave our country. The day of a human movie star is coming to an end. Also Music stars and Comedians yes let's get them all And it will be good for the planet and 1 day we will all be Earthlings . Fortunity for me i won't be here to experience it.

Maybe this is more explanatory for the nature of our "real" reality than we know...

I remind of FlowScape, I had a thread about it several months ago. Leaves you with a few things more to do. But maybe my impression of Gaugan is not correct.

I prefer this kind of software and AI approach more for photo editing/optimising.

In the end, every way in which to perceive "reality", are artificial crooks. The type and characteristic of the chemical film in analoge cameras, changes the image. The mood in which I live through the day. The monitor colour setting. The answer to the question whether I am an ape, a bat or a cretaure living at the bottom of the Aleutan abyss. Amnd when it was that I had my last LSD fix. So, that "it is not real", is not really an argument for or against anything here, in software tools like this. The only argument is whether or not using it gives you fun and joy, or bores you.

Nvidia announces official “anti-cryptomining” software drivers

The dilemma that modern GPUs face, however, is that they’re also pretty good at performing cryptographic calculations, like computing hashes such as as SHA-2 and SHA-3 at high speed.

This sort of algorithm is used at the heart of many cryptocurrency mining calculations.

You can therefore see why cryptocurrency fans might be very keen to get their hands on the latest special-purpose hardware that can speed up the calculations needed to earn cryptocoins.

Can someone please explain how bitcoins are mined? How and why do you need computer power for this?
So i employ 10000 PCs and "produce" currency with it, while burning some terajoule of energy?
Humans are crazy. What about energy being stored as currency in the long run.

These funny supoersmartheads also have ideas of using plugged-in e-cars as dynamic power reserves. The law says that pliugged in cars that want to charge ove rnight, can be remote-accessed and their batteries emptied into the powergrid, if "need be", and rechargign them before the morning (or not, hehehe.) So if you have th estrnage and exotic idea to riase early at 3 am and drive at 4am into holiday to avoid traffic jams on the autobahn over the day, yopu might find your car unfit to deliver the cruise.

Its called something like powergrid peak smoothing. I dont know whethere I want to smash faces and yell or laugh when needing to witness another excercise in this kind of technocrat slang propaganda.

BTW, the same is planned for electric home heating and electric power supply , too. Think of that when they come and force you to let them mine your home with oh so clever and safe smartmeters.

Serious, no joke.
