HELP-Ubisoft game "Cloud Saves"

Please help me, folks!
-I have been playing SH5 (un-modded) for years; as recently as yesterday.
-Today, when I log in I get, for the first time, a screen from UbiSoft saying "Ubisoft Connect needs to sync Cloud Saved Games".
-If I try to sinc it fails, if a say to play saved games from my computer it identifies yesterday's date as a saved game from that I am trying to play, but if I click on that it will not let me play. If I click on "click" or "cancel" it takes me back to desktop.
-How do I disable this Ubisoft thing, and where did it come from?

A long silent run!

Good help should arrive shortly; lack of UBISOFT supprt might B a problem. A mod would alleviate that.

Folks: Sorry to bother you; I think I am OK now.
-I just had to delete my most recent saved game and play from the previous one.
-Boy, ubisoft is tough!
