ahoy ,

after a long time of abstinence, im back on this forum.

HELLO EVERYBODY.

my first uboat sim was Silent Service series by Microprose(Amiga and MS-Dos), later on the Silent Hunter Series.
I have been on this forum when Silent Hunter 3 came out, and the Living SH 3 Mods changed the game entirely. I always loved Sub Sims, but SH3 with LSH3 Mod made me a hardcore fan back in the days. Well, as life and things went on, at some point i didnt have the time, and other things came into life.

But now, somehow it called me. I thought, damn, i got this SH3 DVD somewhere, so i dug it out of the basement, and really wanted to play some SH3. of course i directly searched for the mods. I really didnt expect that theres still so much dedication and community to the game, i mean damn, SH3 is 16 years old. that is so cool. thank you for the warm welcome! i cant wait to get back on a boat.

unlucky, i tried to install my dvd on a win10 but ran into odd trouble, so a great member of this board told me i should use version 1.4 without starforce prot.(thanks to that great member of this board, i dont know if he is ok with mentioning him here, so i dont).
so hopefully in the next few days i can report my first tour! im excited to come back to the game.
