Newb questions, in base before misssion

Hi

Just wondering how is the proper way to end a mission. I have followed the orders ie: transit the area, stay the 24 hours and expended all of my torpedoes. I’ll go to the dock and click on “dock at xx port” and get in the base before mission in the career section. Is there a request escort like Aces I’m missing?

Is there a request new orders function?

2.Stiebler patch and files add a surrender and request new orders option, among other good things.

I usually do not sail directly to the designated grid, i see on the map which grid passes the most allied convoys and go through them before.

Press the Escape key and you will be given the option to exit patrol, which returns you to your base.
