No promotions or awards after 1st patrol?

Finished my first ever wide-screen patrol.

Sank 2 large merchants for 20K in my Type II, got 300+ renown. Was also severely damaged (surprised by a Destroyer in the fog).

Returned home to no medals or promotions. I was however able to give out a specialty rate.

I thought that was kind of strange. Typically you get the front clasp or war badge right?

I'm playing with ARB wide-screen with Hsie, GWX3 and SH3 commander.

I believe you need at least two patrols completed before you can get to Uboot Front Badge.

SH3 medals renown is broken from start.
U Boat Front Clasp was only established around may 44 in real...
Best way is to give medals via commander, at least for crew.
Or even best is to not care of medals at all...like the Romanian devs did...

Update: Finished Patrol 2 for the same amount tonnage.

Awarded one IC to my CE and 9 War Badges.

On my 3rd and final Patrol with my Type II, have already transferred to 2nd Flotilla. Will buy the Type VII when I return home.
