Default So there is a God out there after all

It does not bring me great sadness to announce the death of the vilest oxygen thief I ever had the misfortune to meet in person.

Quote:
The Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe has died at the age of 74.

The serial killer was serving a whole life term for murdering 13 women across Yorkshire and north-west England.

His first victim's son, who was five when his mother was killed in 1975, said Sutcliffe's death would bring "some kind of closure".

The former lorry driver, from Bradford, died in hospital where he is said to have refused treatment for Covid-19. He also had other health problems.

Ex-police officer Bob Bridgestock, who worked on the investigation, said he "won't be shedding any tears" over the killer's death.

Sutcliffe, who was also found guilty of the attempted murder of seven women, was convicted in 1981. He spent three decades at Broadmoor Hospital before being moved to HMP Frankland in County Durham in 2016.

His killings began with mother-of-four Wilma McCann, 28, who was hit with a hammer and stabbed 15 times, in October 1975.

Now he has to stand before God to be judged.

God's ways are not our ways and God's thoughts are not our thoughts

These are just the victims we know of

Why would a god create this monster and in his own image and let it do what it did - if not because such a god is a cruel monster himself?

Leave gods and deities out of it. There is neither need nor condolence in thinking that a divine superbeing wanted things the way they are. A sick pervert killed people, and now died of desease. End of story.

Yeah whatever. Mr. Sutcliffe's thoughts on the matter are not known, but taking into account he was a Catholic raised Jehovah's witness maybe he himself retrospectively thought all the wrongdoing was part of a eschatological plan and he would be among the 144.000 (Rev 14:1-5).

You know what? His crimes, his live, and even his death were ungodly, unhallowed, hateful and brutal. The planet is a better place without him. There is absolutely no moment of transcendency in this. Turn the page.

Too much notoriety and will survive in lore anyway.

EDIT: Something like the Zodiac killer in the Vallejo/Napa area close to the same time.

In all seriousness, I remember when they finally caught Bundy for the last time. (In Florida).

So how did you meet him Jim?

Can't go into any real detail Jason but he was a driver and visited the north east quite regularly and was interviewed on nine separate occasions.

Tis all below.
