Nuke 'Golden State Killer' sentenced to life in prison

Quote:
[NFA] A former California police officer who lived a double life as the "Golden State Killer" was sentenced to life in prison on Friday for a string of 1970s and '80s murders and rapes that were solved through the use of public genealogy websites.

He got away cheaply.

That little rat should've gotten the death penalty. What a shame.

He should have but now he has years to be hated and live with it. Maybe the death penalty would be easier, maybe not. Maybe the victim's survivors will feel better not having a part in more killing, maybe not. Personally I don't like killing anything, even vermin that need it.

Well, he's going to be put in one of the very toughest of prisons in CA, along with a lot of extremely dangerous prisoners who will probably "welcome" a former cop, particularly one who is seemingly 'getting away with it"; longevity may not be in his future...

I hope that dirty SOB gets a taste of his own medicine in prison.

I've watched videos on prison and one guy said he saw a dude get killed for sitting in the wrong seat at chow. Yikes.

If he was "truly sorry" he would have turned himself in long ago. Welcome to Prison. Hopefully they send him to one of the desert locations so he can get a taste of hot hell will be.
