Default Allocating more RAM to SH4 without LAA?

Hello everyone. I have recently installed the Dark Waters mod for SH4, however, whenever I enter a mission or campaign the game freezes and crashes. I presume this problem is caused because SH4 does not have enough RAM allocated.
I was wondering if it was possible to allocate more RAM without the LAA program?
Thanks

in a word, No.
you need LAA or similar tool.
keep in mind, that 4 gig is the max that can be made available no matter how much RAM your system has installed.
