NYGM is usually said as the more difficult, then Ccom12/GWX/WAC then LSH3. About harbor traffic/life and everywhere, best are LSH3/Ccom12/WAC, then GWX then NYGM. About ships looking/rendering, I love the LSH3/Ccom12 ones, but others are not bad at all. Best is to try all those mods by yourself and make your choice! MultiSH3 is your friend, and you can have all of them on your computer

NYGM? Visually? NYGM is a great mod, especially if you want a real challenge, but I've heard that it's not the one you're looking for if what you want are pretty graphics. Fifi's advice seems more in-line with the way those different mods work.
