Been playing a lot of SH5 lately, noticed something weird.
Not always, but maybe 50% of the time, whenever I hit a ship with a torpedo or deck gun round the hole it should visibly leave is not there. Also on the deck gun if I shoot the super structure or above the water line and then put my free camera under the water I can see the visible damage, but only from under water, but if I move the camera out of the water the visible damage that should be there isn't there. It's as if the water is some sort of filter. Super weird. Any fixes? Also using TWOS mod if that matters. |

What you are describing is a known limitation of dat-format ships featured in TWoS. All the stock ships and the recently released coaster by kapuhy, have damage visible from any angle ![]() |
