Hi Everyone,
Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but I have been trying SH4 Version 1.5 with the Real Fleet Boat version 2.0 mod working, however when enabling it along with the version 2.0 patch using JSGME it crashes to desktop right after the red progress bar completes, the intro videos play fine I am also getting several popup warning messages such as and others 'There is a new (not implemented) page: <PageChooseLoadSave> !'' As mentioned above I am using version 1.5 Uboat Missions. The vanilla version of the game does load and work correctly, I had to change the compatibility of the sh4 exe to Vista for this. I am using Windows 10 64 bit Pro with 16 GB ram and a i7 9700k. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

What is your install path? ie: "C:\Program Files (x86) \Ubisoft \Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific"... ?? Had you emptied the Save folder prior to starting RFB? (C:\Users \UserName \Documents \SH4)

Thanks for your response, my install path was E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Silent Hunters wolves of the pacific. I was able to resolve the issue by uninstalling and re-installing Silent Hinter 4 to a different location, this occurred to me after trying another mod with the same popup warning messages. |

Excellent! Yes, Windows is rather "jealous", to put it politely, of any folder with a "Program Files" name, even if it is not on the System drive. Older versions did not have that issue, but Windows 10 definitely does. It is best to keep the older games outside of any Windows System folders, no matter what drive you use... Anyway, well done! Now go on patrol, and don't go too deep!
