AA gun location on VIIB

Hi,

I downloaded the mods "German U-Boats Compilation 2" and "FixAllSubGWX". They add nice graphical updates for the ship models. But some weird changes was also made to my VIIB, the 20 mm AA gun was moved from the tower to the back deck of the sub. Is this historically accurate? Why does the mod move it there, were the 20 mm guns in reality on the deck rather than on the tower?

Yes, I believe so, at least for the VIIA. The Pre-War installation of the 2cm Flak was on the lower deck. The bridge platform was not widened until spring 1940, in order to move the gun placement there.

U-124 sinking four in two approaches, 406 suffers failure on launch again.
