Different Boats

Been ages since I last played and did a re-install. I was wondering if anyone had figured out how to add boats like the IX series, the XXI, or even the XXIII? I have a burning desire to run with one of the later boats.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think you can in sh5. The vanilla version of sh5 was type VII and its variants only.

I have just recently returned to this community because of the amazing WoS super mod that completely resurrected this game for me, so I do not know much in the way of whether or not there are mods that add different uboats, but I have not seen anything.

Alternatively, Silent Hunter 3 is a stellar game with a really good mega mod called The Grey Wolves. That game did in fact feature all the different uboat types and their variants.

SH5 is strictly different variations of the Type VII.
