Trouble with GWX installation

Hello, im a new user to Subsim and need some help with installing GWX, i've checked many threads but found barely any help, if anyone could help me that would be great.

I followed all the steps to install GWX but whenever I try to install it, there is a error message saying that mods are installed, but there are none installed. SH3 now crashes whenever I try to load a mission.
I use SH3 on Steam, and Windows 10.

I have fixed installation for GWX, basically after deleting the game files a few times and installing the 4GB patch, it now runs. Thank you everyone.

ive got a problem with sh3+gwx

its installed on my D.\ drive (steam install), gwx was installed and only mod
active.runnin on win7 64. its patched/updated to v1.4.0.1. i also tried 4gig mod but its same game starts but only naval academy and single missions work i cannot start the campaign.

info, suggestions, tips n tricks appreciated

Does the Stock game run? When you installed the game, did you install DirectX v9.0c and the codecs?

yes stock game worked normally

also usual trick as "run as admin" and compatibility doesnt work

I'll try to dig into my Steam SH3 later this evening, and see what mine is doing lately. Navigate to your install folder though, and right-click on the SH3 file, and then choose "Properties" from the Context Menu. On that first "General" tab of the Properties page, does is show the "Read-only" Attribute cleared in the bottom section of the tab?

My Windows 10 64-bit computer will only run the LSH 2015, which was the last mod I activated. I will have to look into that. I don't know if this is because of the last Windows update, or the recent UPlay update. It did run just fine a few months ago... I also have a Win8.1 64-bit machine I can try things on.
