A witness told Finnish media that a student entered Savo college carrying a sword and stabbed several people.

Finland is considered a relatively safe country, with a total of 73 homicides in 2017, but it does have a large gun-owning population. In 2008, a 22-year-old gunman shot dead 10 people at a vocational school in the town of Kauhajoki before fatally shooting himself.

I'm not sure any countries are all that safe these days.

indeed. its a sickness. Its unfortunate though how that and its causes never seem to get addressed. Anyway someone will figure it out. Meanwhile Im going to be antisocial and isolate myself by surfing the net the rest of the day, play a few mind numbing 1st person shoot-n-stab games. Then watch John Wick 3 and the new Joker movie before bed.
