Default A Florida man.....

That are a lot of headlines we could read about a Florida man...

A Florida man discovers a breakthrough in Cancer treatment or
A Florida man invents an ultra low polluting gas engine or even
A Florida man creates a low carb food that does not taste like crap.

But, in reality, what we end up with is

Florida man accidentally shoots, kills woman during foreplay, deputies say

Quote:
VALRICO, Florida — A man in Valrico is facing a manslaughter charge after deputies say he accidentally shot and killed a woman during an act of foreplay.
Andrew Shinault, 23, shot the woman in her upper body with his registered hand gun around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Deputies say the two were engaging in an act of foreplay involving the gun.
The woman, in her 20s, was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital where she later died.
Shinault was charged with manslaughter with a weapon on Friday. He was booked into the Orient Road Jail on a $50,000 bond.
Must be something in the water.

^ while this one may have been an accident (though playing with loaded guns as 'foreplay'.. are there any normal people left?), this one was not:

There has been a viral 'challenge' going around for a bit of a while lately where you type in 'Florida man' and the month and day of your birth into Google snd it returns links for strange news stories about the activities of a 'Florida man' on that day; I put in my particulars and got this back:

Florida Man Arrested After He Attempted to Pay for His McDonald's Order With Weed --

https://www.complex.com/life/2018/12...alds-with-weed

Quote:

A 23-year-old in Port St. Lucie made a late bid for Florida Man of the Year when he tried to pay for his McDonald's order with a bag of weed.

According to ABC News, Anthony Andrew Gallagher attempted to make the trade early on the morning of December 16, offering the weed through the drive-thru window. When the cashier declined his offer, Gallagher drove off.

Apparently, the police were called over the incident and they arrived at McDonald's to question the worker. While the police were still on-site, Gallagher attempted to go through the drive-through again and was arrested.

He is charged with marijuana possession and driving under the influence.
Florida: the state that makes California look normal...
