I played the FORTUS up to .07 and it had plenty oF action. Then along came 0.81 and the places I am sent on patrol have very little action. I installed 0.81 alone as instuctions were not very forth coming. Question 1, should it have been install over 0.71? Question 2, where are my tails in map view?

Where were you sent on this patrol where you find no action?. I've gone for over two weeks game time and had nothing happen and then I keep running into more Japanese ships than I have torpedoes. As for your question about the tails, they've been put back in and then taken out again. I've heard some discussion lately about putting them back in again. You'll have to wait and see when the next release comes out. ![]() ![]()

Opinions vary, but the tails don't give an exact course, just a general direction. Anyone with enough sense to report a ship sighting would at least know enough to add a general speed and direction, east-southeast, north-northwest, something even if it's not the closest to one of the 32 cardinal points of the compass. For that reason I always felt objections to the tails as not being realistic is kind of silly, it's not close enough to an exact course to be a cheat.
