Download on Steam Not Working

All,

After playing the SCS campaign I had wanted to re-install the Soviet mod but after downloading the "override" for the Soviet campaign mod and installing under "SteamAssets" and a re-boot the game comes up with only one mission and the text on the start a campaign screen is garbled. I have tried subsequent uninstalls plus frequent re-boots after each but cannot get the game - even "vanilla" - to run without the garbled text and a "start campaign" button that doesn't work.

Are there any thoughts anyone has for me?

You have to go into \Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets and manually remove the override folder. Steam's delete local files doesn't really work with modded installs of games.
