Hello,
Am I the only one experiencing where the weather is not changing no mater what during the patrol (unless I load save game again)? This is annoying especially if you get rough weather so sonar has issues in listening plus when the boat gets hit by the wave the game registers it as if it had dived so it interrupts battery charging, in other word I cannot charge my batteries. I tried to TC 2-3 days still same weather, same wind speed and direction not a single variation. Playing with TWOS ofc |

1) do not use TC higher than 128.
2) play at least 24 hours of game time during a session. It will change. 3) battery recharge issue is normal bug. |

Weather can be stuck for days as in RL.
I’ve always played TWOS TCx512 without problem (I5 @ 3.9 GHz) To overcome the batterie issue in bad weather, as soon as the recharge batterie icon is set on yellow (on), go TC x512 or at least x128 so the game doesn’t take care of waves ![]()

Interesting info here. But I'd like to be sure I get it right:
My weather was almost the worst, wind speed of 15 knots, medium fog and really high waves submerging my sub on the surface. Now when I save game and reload, the sea is calm, still fog, and my navigator still says wind speed = 15 knots, although the 3D world doesn't fit (rather calm looking like 2-5 knots for wind). Is my navigator still right with his message? And if the weather changes it will do it in 24 hours, not sooner or later? When will the 3D world fit again the weather, I have played several hours real-time after reloading savegame, but still the outside world doesn't fit. Thanks anyone to clarify it for me! XS |

I just want to know if it the weather engine can produce 60ft swells, making your boat yield to starboard or port with inclinometer reading 70 +

I will have to try this one in my modlist. Thanks Fitzcarraldo for the tip ![]() Alternatively, it's possible to activate sea roughness up to 60 m waves in the TDW Generic Patcher, but this has been disabled for a good reason, so maybe it's not recommended to do. (I have never tried it.) Cheers, ![]() XenonS Last edited by XenonSurf; 05-13-19 at 08:46 PM. |
