Hi all
I want to ask if its possible to import ships from sh4 to sh3 and reverse.
Its only to convert dds to tga or has to be done work with the other files
(dat,sim,eqp etc)

ps i asked the same at sh3 forum but i haven't any reply yet

Some have already been ported over. Check the downloads section.
No idea bar the dds to tga if anything else needs doing. A look thru the ones done might answer your question

Yes, it's possible to have SHIII ships play in the SH4 game, but it's not for the faint of heart! We did it with many of the Fotrs Ultimate ship units, but getting all parameters to work together is no easy task. Gun emplacements will need to be changed due to the differences, not to mention the ship physics are different. All in all, you need a through understanding of what the parameters do, before trying to port over from one game to the other.
