Problem Patching to 1.4b

Hello all.

I am new to Silent Hunter 3 and Subsim. I installed SH3 via disk and searched for the update patches, I found them but whenever I try to patch it, it says it "cannot update the installed version 1.0 to 1.3 C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter III\Data\Cfg\Commands_en.cfg:unknown version." I looked for anything possibly related to a fix for this on Subsim but couldn't find a topic open with it.

Any help with why this problem is happening, and how it can be fixed would be apprecited greatly.

Right-click on Sh3.exe and you see which version is
