Stadimeter CTD

Hi there! Re-installed this game after a long while, everything runs fine except as the title says! Every time i click the stadimeter i get a CTD. have searched the forums and googled to no avail, everyone else seems to have intermitant stad CTD or the issue is fixed by lowering the resolution, and no luck for me there.

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 17134) (17134.rs4_release.180410-1804)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

Any help would be grand

What is the "Native" ("Recommended") resolution for your computer display monitor? What do you have Windows set to? What do you have SH4 set to? Which version of SH4 do you have? v1.3, v1.5? Also, is it a boxed disk copy, or downloaded from Amazon or some other online store, or is it a Steam copy? Which folder do you have the game installed in? The install routine defaults to the "C:\Program Files (x86)\ Ubisoft\ Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific" path. Last, but certainly not least, are you using any mods?
