SH4 tages install issue

trying to get sh4 back up and running. Originally bought the gold pack from gamersgate. I get as far as entering the serial and it fails, maybe something to do with "tages" drm?

any help?

is the installer failing outright or is it saying the serial is invalid?

Well, I got it fixed. Needed to goto the tages website and get the latest version of the driver. Which fixed that problem...

My current issue is that the game doesn't start with windows 10 at all.

I'm working through the various compatibility settings. Is there a generally agreed upon set of settings that should get it to work?

I'm trying to get this to run on GPD pocket with a X7-Z8750 proc, and HD Graphics 405 GPU...

Try compatability for Win7. XP at worst if you have to, but it runs fine for me on 7 with no additional adjustments.

Install DirectX v9.0c that came in the package, and consult THEBERBSTER's SH4 <> TUTORIALS <> HOW TO DO IT <> INFO <> DOWNLOAD LINKS -STICKY INDEX thread advice up toward the top for Win10 issues...

Vista, and overriding the DPI scaling did the trick, (I may try changing those later) but at least I got the stock game up and running. (and fairly reasonably as well given the 6" screen on this thing. Just takes forever to load.
