freezing / pauses

Hey all,

I've got SH5 running with Wolves of Steel, however when I play I get micro stutters where the gamer pauses for a second then continues to run. Usually when turning around, as if it's on texture loading..

has anybody come across this? I'm on a good pc (i7 6700k, 16gbDDR4 ram, GTX 1070).

It's quite annoying and distracting so if someone is aware of a fix I'd love to hear about it
